A mission team from 631 just got back from South Africa last week and had amazing time. God did wonderful things and moved in and through our hearts as we ministered to the Besotho people. Make sure you talk to a team member at the next 631 to hear some unbelievable stories.

We currently have 5 satellite groups in the Chicago-land area and our goal is to raise that number to 10 total groups within the next 3 months. For that to happen we need people to lead these groups, so if you are interested please email us info@sixthirtyone.com.

Kristian Stanfill will be joining us on May 12th to lead worship. Kristian leads worship at Passion Conferences and at Northpoint Church in Atlanta, GA.

We finally have the dates for the trip to South Africa!! We will be heading out there on July 31^st and returning August 11^th. Please begin praying for the team, for the people we will be meeting in Africa, for Joshua Expeditions, for support spiritually and financially and for this trip to do nothing but honor the name of Jesus and bring Him glory.

We have 30 children from a small village in Lesotho (where we will be visiting during our trip) that have extreme needs and live in a horribly AIDS stricken area. They are available for sponsorship through World Vision and we have the pictures and necessary information. It is $35 a month per child. We are so excited for the next 3 worship leaders for our monthly gatherings! Will Duvall will be coming on February 11th. He leads worship at Willow Creek Community Church. In March, Eddie Kirkland will be joining us. He leads worship at North Point Community Church in Atlanta (Andy Stanley/ Louie Giglio church). Then our partners, The Dustin Burke Band will be coming back in April to praise our King.

631 is so excited to invite Phil Wickham to lead worship at our next 631. He is currently on tour with the David Crowder Band and is an amazing worship leader with a huge heart for the Lord. In January, our partners, the Dustin Burke Band will be back to lead us.

The North Riverside Satellite group will be going on a mission trip to South Africa in August of 2008. Applications are going out now and it is open to those at 631 who are committed to the Lord and would be committed to the mission. However, we must cap the trip at 20 total people. Join us on October 8th for our one year anniversary of the 631 movement. God has been faithful this past year and we look forward to another year of His service. The worship leader for that night will be announced soon.

On July 23rd, 631 will begin a new message series entitled “World Changer: The life and writings of the apostle Paul.” We are excited to dive into the life of one of the Bible’s greatest missionaries and followers of Christ.

Josh Wilson will be returning to 631 on July 23rd, along with Branch. We are excited for a great time of worship that night.

The next three monthly gathering worship leaders have been locked in. On April 23rd, Me In Motion will be leading us in worship. Andy Kirk will be coming back with a full band to lead us on May 21st. And on June 11th, Rush of Fools will be joining us.

This past month 631 partnered with Pioneers, who is a missions organization that mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches. For more information on Pioneers and to join their team check our www.pioneers.org.

Things have been going great at our large group gatherings. This past month the Dustin Burke Band led us in a time of worship. Jesus Christ was lifted high and His name was glorified. It was amazing and we are looking forward to them coming back again in the future.
